Constructed of fibreglass, our 1.2x1.8m fire blanket can withstand temperatures up to 500 Celsius. It is packaged in a high quality, quick-release PVC container. This fire blanket is certified and approved AS/NZS 3504.
The CSIRO ActivFire Scheme is an Australian Government Agency who verify & certify fire products which may be installed into Federal and State Government Departments. All our fire blankets are ActivFire certified.
When to use:
Class A fires – Ordinary combustibles
Class B fires – Flammable and combustible liquids
Class F fires – Cooking oils & Fats (limited)
Where to use:
Ideal for use in the home, kitchen, car, caravan, or boat.
Due to its size the 1.2m x 1.8m fire blanket is more suited for medium sized fires, such as fryer fires in kitchens and clothing fires.
